Yes the rumours are true. Dance Off will be hosting not one but two battles on the 25th June @ Matter. We are proud to host two of the most exciting dance battles ever on UK soil, and with prizes worth a cool £1000, these competitors have everything to fight for. Battles include:
"Bonnie & Clyde" battle - Named after one of America's most infamous couples, this battle will see BBoys and BGirls come together in pairs to compete in the oldest hip hop dance style. Expect full-on footwork and power moves as our Bonnie and Clyde pairs battle it out to take home the prizes and become the Dance Off 2009 champions.
"Lucky Track" battle - Are the competitors feeling lucky? Or are they so skilled that they are able to perform to the highest standards no matter what music track they are presented with? See for yourself as participating solo dancers battle one-on-one to tracks chosen at random with genres ranging from popular hits to the completely outlandish. Not only do the competitors have to battle against each other; they might have to do it with music they’ve never heard before! This is the face-off that will determine the ultimate dancer, who will take home the bragging rights, cool prizes and Dance Off Champion title for 2009?
